FG. announces Mid-Term Break For Schools During 2019 General Elections

The federal government through the Federal Ministry of Education has made arrangements for mid-term break for all the citadel of learning nationwide to embark on mid-term break for the purpose of general elections coming up this month.

According reports made the arrangement was reached at the meeting with the Ministry of Education today. There it was agreed that schools will have two breaks this term to cover both the presidential and gubernatorial elections.
The First break which is for the presidential election will be from February 13th – February 18th and classes are to resume on Tuesday, February 19th while boarders are to return on the evening of February 18th.
The Second break will be from February 28th – March 4th and classes will resume on Tuesday, March 5th as boarders will return on the evening of March 4th.

School operators and parents are to be aware of this and adhere accordingly.
